At The Benevolent we work closely with other agencies and charities to provide you a wide range of support and help.
We provide help and support to people who work, or have worked within the UK drinks industry and their families.
In practical terms this means anyone who has worked in a pub, brewery, bar, distillery, vineyards, off licence, trade press publication, warehouse or in an office based role at a company producing, distributing, marketing or selling primarily alcohol.
We do provide a wide range of support to current and former employees of the drinks industry and their family, including:
- Disability & Illness
- Family related crisis
- Financial Hardship
- Housing Issues
- Stress in the Workplace
Our eligibility criteria are:
- To be eligible for support you must have spent at least 2 years in the drinks industry or 20% of your working life.
- You must be a resident of the United Kingdom
Each case is considered on an individual basis upon receipt of the initial application form. If you work in a welfare agency or organisation, and you would like to refer a case to our attention, please download our Application Form and send it to: Pam Jarrett, Finance Manager.
